Avatar, Voice Clone & Likeness Consent Policy

CoreAIVideo allows users to create powerful AI content using images, avatars, voices, and video.

That power must be used responsibly.

This policy explains the rules for using a person’s face, image, voice, likeness, identity, or other personal characteristics inside CoreAIVideo.

The simple rule

Only use someone’s face, image, voice, likeness, or identity if you have the legal right and clear permission to do so.

This applies to:

  • Your own image
  • Your own voice
  • Employees
  • Founders
  • Team members
  • Influencers
  • Creators
  • Clients
  • Customers
  • Actors
  • Models
  • Spokespeople
  • Brand ambassadors
  • Public figures
  • Any other real person

If you do not have permission, do not upload it, clone it, generate it, edit it, or publish it.

What this policy covers

This policy applies when you use CoreAIVideo to create or edit:

  • AI avatars
  • AI influencers
  • AI spokespersons
  • AI voices
  • Image-to-avatar videos
  • Image-to-video content
  • Text-to-video content showing realistic people
  • AI-generated or edited people
  • Founder or employee clone videos
  • Client or influencer videos
  • Testimonial-style videos
  • UGC-style videos
  • Any content using a person’s face, voice, likeness, or identity

Consent is required

You must have proper consent before using a person’s:

  • Face
  • Photo
  • Selfie
  • Headshot
  • Video
  • Voice
  • Name
  • Signature style
  • Likeness
  • Identity
  • Persona
  • Social media identity
  • Recognisable personal characteristics

Consent should be clear, specific, and appropriate for the intended use.

For example, if you are creating an AI avatar of an employee for brand videos, the employee should understand how their avatar may be used, where it may be published, and whether it may be reused in future content.

Extra rules for agencies and brands

If you are an agency, freelancer, consultant, brand, or team using CoreAIVideo for clients, you are responsible for getting permission from the right people.

This may include permission from:

  • The client
  • The person appearing in the content
  • The person whose voice is used
  • The influencer or creator
  • The employee or founder
  • The talent agency or representative
  • The brand owner
  • The rights holder

You should keep records of approvals and consent.

CoreAIVideo may ask for proof of consent if a dispute, complaint, or abuse report is received.

Voice cloning rules

Voice cloning can make content sound like a real person.

Because of that, you may only create or use a voice clone if:

  • You are cloning your own voice; or
  • You have clear permission from the person whose voice is being cloned; and
  • The cloned voice is not used to mislead, impersonate, scam, defame, or harm anyone.

You may not use voice cloning to:

  • Pretend someone approved a message when they did not
  • Create fake endorsements
  • Create fake testimonials
  • Imitate a celebrity, politician, influencer, client, employee, or competitor without consent
  • Make someone appear to say something they never agreed to say
  • Create fraudulent audio or video content

Avatar and AI clone rules

You may create AI avatars and AI clones only when you have the right to do so.

You may not create or use avatars that:

  • Impersonate real people without permission
  • Copy celebrities, public figures, influencers, or competitors without consent
  • Mislead viewers into believing an AI person is a real person
  • Create false testimonials or endorsements
  • Damage someone’s reputation
  • Are used for fraud, scams, harassment, or deception
  • Violate laws, rights of publicity, privacy rights, copyright, trademark, or platform rules

If an avatar is fictional or AI-generated, do not present it as a real person unless that is clearly true.

If an avatar represents a real person, make sure you have permission.

Required confirmation inside the platform

Before creating or using avatar, likeness, or voice clone features, CoreAIVideo may ask users to confirm:

I confirm that I have the legal right and consent to use this person’s image, likeness, and/or voice.

For agencies or client work, CoreAIVideo may also ask users to confirm:

I confirm that my client, talent, employee, influencer, or representative has approved this use.

These confirmations may be stored for compliance, safety, and dispute-resolution purposes.

Content disclosure

When you create content using AI avatars, AI influencers, AI spokespersons, or voice clones, you should disclose AI use where required.

Example disclosures:

  • This video includes an AI-generated avatar.
  • This voiceover was generated using AI.
  • This is a virtual spokesperson created with AI.
  • Created with AI.

Disclosures should be clear enough for a reasonable viewer to understand that AI was used.

You may not use CoreAIVideo to create or distribute avatar, voice, or likeness content that:

  • Uses a person’s identity without permission
  • Creates non-consensual deepfakes
